Laser applications.

High output is difficult to achieve when heat, distortion, and weld variation are hard to control. Laser applications help manufacturers produce precise welds at high speed with minimal heat input, making it possible to maintain consistent quality in thin materials and demanding automated production environments.

overview

What is laser technology?

Laser applications use a focused beam of energy to weld, cut, clean, braze, or process materials with high accuracy. In automated production, laser technologies help combine speed, precision, and controlled heat input, making it possible to process thin materials and precision components with stable quality and predictable results.

Inconsistent weld quality

Inconsistent grip reliability

Distortion in thin materials

Technology

How it works

A high-intensity laser delivers concentrated energy to weld, braze, cut, or process materials with high precision. The process is controlled through accurate positioning, movement, and monitoring, with seam tracking or inspection added when variation in parts or positioning needs to be compensated.

  • Laser welding, hybrid welding, brazing, and cutting.

  • Minimal heat input.

  • Seam tracking and in-line inspection.

Approach

A proven approach to robotic automation

The success of robotic automation depends on more than the technology itself. The way requirements are defined, engineering decisions are made, and systems are supported after commissioning all influence long-term operations performance.

Bringing together expertise across engineering, integration, commissioning, and support helps create solutions that perform reliably in operation.
