Service Operations Coordinator

What do we expect?
3+ years of experience in customer service, service coordination, project coordination, operations, or a similar role, preferably in a technical or project-driven environment;
Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer requests, projects, and priorities while maintaining attention to detail;
A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, follows through, and keeps projects moving forward in a fast-paced environment;
The ability to collaborate across teams, building strong relationships with customers, vendors, purchasing, engineering, production, and field service;
Technical curiosity and adaptability, with the ability to understand automation or manufacturing processes and quickly learn new systems, products, and processes.
About this vacancy.
The Service Operations Coordinator serves as the central point of communication between customers, vendors, technicians, and internal departments to ensure service projects are executed efficiently and customers receive exceptional support. While purchasing and supply chain experience are valuable, the primary focus of this role is coordinating service activities, managing expectations, and driving projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate service projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are met;
Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding service requests, schedules, and project updates;
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders through proactive communication and responsiveness;
Coordinate resources across engineering, purchasing, production, and field service teams to support successful project execution;
Manage multiple service requests simultaneously while maintaining a high level of urgency and attention to detail;
Work closely with purchasing and supply chain to procure materials and services needed for customer projects;
Track project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and solutions to customers and internal teams.
Assist with vendor management, purchasing activities, and material coordination.
