Career Development.

Whatever direction your career takes, you will have opportunities to build your expertise, take on more responsibility, and keep developing.

Development is part of the job.

From day one, you'll have opportunities to learn, take responsibility and grow in your role. Your onboarding is tailored to your experience and includes guidance from a buddy who helps you get up to speed quickly.

Learning on the job.

Most learning happens through daily work. You'll develop through projects, customer challenges, commissioning activities and collaboration with colleagues across disciplines and locations. By solving real problems and learning from others, you continuously expand your knowledge and skills.

That balance is reflected in the 70-20-10 approach:

  • 70% learning through experience and daily work
  • 20% Learning from feedback, coaching and colleagues
  • 10% learning through training and education

Training & development opportunities.

Through the AWL Academy, you can access training in technology, safety, collaboration and personal development. Your development path may include a combination of on-the-job learning, AWL Academy training and external courses that match your ambitions.

There is no single career path at AWL. Some colleagues grow into specialist roles, while others take on project leadership, senior responsibilities or people management. The direction is yours to shape with the support, trust and opportunities to keep developing throughout your career.
