What do we expect?
Strong experience with industrial robot programming and commissioning, including multiple major robot platforms such as FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, and ABB.

The Senior Robot Programmer will be responsible for developing, testing, optimizing, and commissioning robot software across multiple platforms and applications. This individual will work closely with engineering, project teams, and customers to ensure robotic systems meet project specifications, safety requirements, and performance expectations. This role requires both domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications, robot mechanical designs, and process requirements to identify programming needs and develop effective solutions.
Develop robot program concepts, flow charts, and fully functional software solutions for automated systems.
Program robots online and offline across multiple platforms and brands.
Test, troubleshoot, and optimize robot functionality to ensure systems meet project, quality, and safety requirements.
Implement software improvements and optimize automated processes during development and commissioning.
Perform initial robot commissioning and startup activities at AWL facilities and customer locations.
Commission robotic systems at customer facilities and provide technical support during installation and startup.
Ensure compliance with applicable machine safety, security, and project standards.
Communicate project progress, programming results, technical issues, and deviations to the Project Coordinator and project team.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve technical challenges and support successful project execution.
Support the development and standardization of robotic software components, programming methods, and best practices.
Assist with troubleshooting and improving existing robotic applications and automated processes.
