What do we expect?
A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Industrial Automation or related.
1-2 years of proven work experience as a Robotic Engineer.
Experience with preferably various robot brands such as Fanuc, ABB, KUKA or YASKAWA, engineering programs (Robotstudio, eDrawings) and welding processes.
Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken) and willingness to travel when required.
A large amount of enthusiasm, together with a passion for welding!

AWL Automation Mexico continues to grow, and we are looking for a motivated Robot Welding Engineer Jr. to join our team in Querétaro. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is eager to develop a career in robotic welding, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Your role
As a Robot Welding Engineer Jr., you will be responsible for supporting the development, optimization, testing, and commissioning of robotic welding processes. You will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure that the welding quality agreed with our customers is successfully achieved during machine implementation and commissioning.
You will participate in challenging automation projects, gain hands-on experience with industrial robots and welding technologies, and support customers both in Mexico and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize robotic welding processes using industrial robots and welding equipment.
Evaluate project requirements, technical specifications, and mechanical designs related to welding applications.
Support robot programming, process validation, and welding parameter optimization.
Verify compliance with project specifications before and after machine commissioning.
Participate in machine testing activities and welding quality evaluations.
Support commissioning activities at customer facilities and resolve technical issues during startup.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project success.
Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and technical support activities.
