About this vacancy.
As a Part-Time Recruiter at AWL Automation, you will support the organization’s talent acquisition efforts by identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates for regular, temporary, and other assigned positions. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will help manage recruiting activities from job posting and initial outreach through applicant screening, interview coordination, and candidate follow-up.
You will use job boards, social media, applicant databases, staffing partners, schools, and community resources to build candidate pipelines and promote open positions. You will review applications, conduct initial screening interviews, respond to applicants, maintain accurate recruiting records, monitor candidate progress and lead times, and provide timely updates to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
In this role, you will maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, temporary staffing firms, job sites, academic partners, and other talent sources. You will also coordinate social media and employer-brand activities, represent the organization at career fairs and outreach events, analyze and report recruiting activity, and support new-hire orientation or training coordination when requested.
The ideal candidate combines recruiting or HR experience with strong communication, organization, initiative, and follow-through. You should be comfortable working independently within established policies while collaborating with hiring managers and consulting the Human Resources Manager when unusual situations arise. Experience with applicant tracking systems, digital sourcing tools, social media recruiting, temporary staffing, or academic outreach is valuable.
If you are ready to use your recruiting expertise to build strong candidate relationships, support hiring teams, and help strengthen our employer brand, we look forward to hearing from you.
